TELESEMINAR REGISTRATION CLOSES TONIGHT AT 9:00 (EDT)

NOTE: Today's REAL posting is immediately below this teleseminar update.

This is the last day to sign up for Tuesday's teleseminar, HOW TO GET PAST THE GATEKEEPER: Advanced Strategies for Sales Professionals. Registration closes at 9:00PM EDT today.

A quick look at the roster reveals the kinds of professionals who have registered include Radio Station Owners, Voiceover Artists, Sales Managers, Station Managers, "Vendors" (companies that sell services to media companies), and Account Executives.

I'm particularly pleased to see voiceover artists among the registrants, because you don't need to have "Sales" in your job title to profit from this course. It's for anyone who sometimes needs to reach someone on the phone — but can't get past that person's gatekeeper.

Check out the uncensored reviews (in their own voices) from previous attendees.

A FEW QUICK ANSWERS TO YOUR TELESEMINAR QUESTIONS

Note: Today's REAL posting is below this one. Check out the video...

On Tuesday, October 14, I'm conducting a live, 90-minute teleseminar entitled HOW TO GET PAST THE GATEKEEPER. Here are my honest answers to a few of the most commonly asked questions I've received.

Q: What kind of equipment do I need to participate?

A: All you need is a telephone.

Q: Is this a "webinar"?

A: Nope. "Teleseminar" = "great big conference call where Dan does most of the talking." It's interactive, but it's all done over the telephone. Just this morning I "attended" a webinar, and sure enough: 3/4 of the time was spent by the presenters trying to figure out how to make the Internet stuff work. While I don't rule out ever doing a webinar, when I can deliver the information just as effectively using just a telephone, I'll use just the telephone.

Q: If I register, I'd want my enter sales staff to participate. Do you have a group rate?

A: The individual rate and the group rate are the same — as long as the group is all gathered 'round the same telephone. I want your entire sales staff to learn these techniques.

Q: What if something unexpected prevents me from attending?

A: Naturally, being there "live" is best. For one thing, you'll be able to participate in the extensive Q&A session. But everyone who registers also will receive the mp3 recording of the entire teleseminar plus the complete study guides. So you're well protected.

EMBARRASSING MOMENT #879: What Happens When You Get Locked Out Of Your Own Teleseminar?

get past the gatekeeper, telephone sales, telephone selling, telesales, sales training

Will people pay for a $10,000 sales-oriented seminar if they can get it at a 99% discount? Without having to leave their offices?

I'm happy to report the answer is...yes. Yesterday was the first day of registration for HOW TO GET PAST THE GATEKEEPER: Advanced Strategies for Sales Professionals, and we've had a bunch of registrations from across the U.S. and Canada.

(I certainly hope we'll have registrants from outside North America. Even with time differences, they'll still receive the complete recordings afterward.)

Prior to announcing this intensive (and, I must say, very cool) teleseminar I signed up with a different telephone bridge provider — a very expensive one.

Why?

1. Much better sound quality. You won't believe the difference.

2. More reliability. If you took part in my How To Double Your Sales teleseminar with Chet Holmes, here's some behind-the-scenes drama you didn't know about: In the middle of the call, my phone connection was dropped.

I was dropped from my own teleseminar.

Frantically I redialed — with the terrible fear that the system wouldn't allow me back in, thinking that the "moderator" (that's me) already was there.

Fortunately, I did get back onto the call — and Chet was still talking. Nobody missed me at all (which wasn't all that good for my ego).

I decided, "Never again." So if you join us next week, expect much better audio quality. And because I'll be teaching nonstop, if I get cut off again — Well, at least I hope someone notices.
