WORLD-CLASS RADIO LESSON FROM IRA GLASS
I saw this on Bob Souer's blog, and I'm ripping it off from him.
Ira Glass's radio program, This American Life, is staggeringly good — and impossible to describe if you've never heard it.
And the lesson he offers here is priceless.

So, Mark, your point is that MY seminars are much too long. I'm canceling your blog subscription.
The thing about This American Life is if you try to describe it to someone who's never heard it, they'll end up being certain they understand what the show is like...and they'll be mistaken.
The one word that always comes to mind when I try to describe the program is "extraordinary."
Oh, did I forget to mention what an "extraordinary" blog you have here, Dan? I'd hate to miss out!
