Yep, that's the way it used to be for me. Now, we tell them the truth! We look to see if it's coming up, and if it's not, we tell them when our request times are (lunch hour, Delilah). Sure, they might be momentarily disappointed, but not as disappointed as when they realize you lied to them!

well said Carly..I take it even one step further depending on time..I see if i can steer them into another song by the same artist that IS coming up..or plan B "what else ya wanna hear--gimme a backup" :!) sometimss it works ...or even will take that request audio..edit out the song title and leave in the artist name..little tricks to try an use what might else be usable..
